Seasonal fruit & vegetables: Sydney in August

Posted by kathryn in Shopping Basket, Fruit, Vegetables and What's in season

Time for my monthly round-up of what’s in season here in Sydney. The big price rises that occurred in July are starting to settle down, although a lot of fruit and veg are still more exy than usual.

Hi there Susan. I publish a monthly list of what’s in season on this blog – because this information is quite hard to access. Despite being told the benefits of eating seasonally – it’s quite hard to work out what you should be eating and when. I don’t know of a list in the format you require, but you could try gardening websites. They may give an indication of what vegetables crop, so you know what to plant.

You can track the fruit and vegetables in season through my what’s in season category.
